Answer: A pet stop is illustrated as a visit to the client home to serve a pet-sitting or dog-walking account. During that time our Pet Stop professional will perform all of the required and requested duties to properly care for your pet in their home environment. Hence our business name "The Pet Stop"!<TOP>
2. Do you meet the pets before service begins?
C'mon, throw it!
Answer: Yes, The Pet Stop always schedules an initial client interview to determine what the exact needs of the account will be. During the meeting we request the veterinary information, go over any health issues concerning the pet and secure several contact numbers in case we need to reach the client. This is the appropriate time for the client to discuss any pet medications or special diet instructions that need to be carried out during the pet stop. At this time we will provide you with our professional references and can go over our bond and liability insurance.
Meeting before service begins is a great opportunity for the client to meet the Pet Stop professional and see if home based pet care is right for them and their special pet. The initial meeting is free of charge and takes place in the client home where service will occur.

3. Will I be able to personalize the care for my pet?
Answer: Absolutely! This is the best defining feature of The Pet Stop. We follow your instructions exactly to guarantee your piece of mind while away. If your pet needs anything special at all, simply let us know and we'll be sure to carry it out. Our service work hours are broad and convenient so your pet will be able to go outside or have someone come "home" just as if you were there with minimal disturbance to their routine!

4. Who will be taking care of my pet when I'm away?
Answer: Michelle and Patrick Sheehan are your primary Pet Stop professionals. The two often share accounts in order to give the other team member a rest. The Pet Stop would notify the client before substituting an independent contractor (other than Michelle or Patrick) before an account begins. This way the client remains informed as to who will be visiting their pets and home.

5. What does the $15-$18 per pet stop rate include?

Answer: Our rate includes pet love and attention, dog-walking and playtime, feeding, watering, medication administering, litter scooping and changing, mail and newspaper retrieval, garbage and recycling set out or bring in, a comprehensive pet journal and client status phone calls to anywhere in the United States. We can even e-mail our clients pet status updates while they're away and send pictures via internet of their pets for no additional charge. We water house plants, change lighting patterns, sprinkle outdoor flowers/garden and have worked with numerous security systems to keep your home safe. Our rate is honored for up to nine pets in the household so you pay ONE rate for your multiple pets, which is very cost effective! What is absolutely free to our clients is our commitment to provide the best customer service, reliability and accessibility at all times.
